Battery Backup: A renewable battery system will be installed to store excess solar energy, ensuring backup power during outages and maximizing energy efficiency.

How we help
Henson Ridge Apartment Project
SEDC Solar is proud to partner with the D.C. Housing Authority (DCHA) and Urban Atlantic to bring a green energy upgrade to the Henson Ridge Apartments—at no cost to residents. As part of this project, SEDC Solar will install free solar panels on the roof of each apartment, along with a code-compliant conduit system connecting to the lower level storage area.
In addition to solar energy, SEDC will provide renewable battery backup systems, ensuring reliable, sustainable power for every unit, even during outages. This initiative is designed to significantly reduce monthly utility bills for all residents while contributing to a cleaner environment. We are committed to delivering this eco-friendly energy solution to benefit the entire Henson Ridge community.
